Utah Scientific Names Bob Natwick Northeast Sales
Manager
SALT LAKE CITY — March 5, 2007 — Utah
Scientific today announced the appointment of Bob
Natwick as Northeast regional sales manager. Natwick,
who has more than 25 years of experience in the broadcast
industry, will oversee territory encompassing everything
from the District of Columbia north to New England.
“We at Utah are delighted to welcome someone
of Bob’s wide knowledge, experience, and talent,”
said Tom Harmon, president and CEO of Utah Scientific.
“From our past association with him, we know
he will increase our presence in the Northeast region
and help generate excitement about our new products
and technology.”
Natwick was a member of the founding team of Modulus
Video in 2003, helping to establish that company as
a leader in MPEG-4 video compression technology. Before
that, he worked for some 20 years in sales and management
with Ampex Corporation, Grass Valley Group, DiviCom
(now Harmonic), and TANDBERG Television. In 2005 Natwick
founded his own sales representative company, representing
Modulus, Utah Scientific, and other product lines
from his mid-Atlantic base near Baltimore.
“While representing Utah Scientific, I recognized
not only the advanced technology and quality of the
products, but also Utah’s commitment to customer
support, which sets the standard in the broadcast
industry,” Natwick said. “I like the company
and the people so much that when an opportunity came
about, I jumped at the chance to join the team.”
Natwick currently serves as section manager in the
Washington, D.C., Society of Motion Picture and Television
Engineers, and he is a member of the Society of Cable
and Telecommunications Engineers. In his new position
with Utah Scientific, he reports directly to Harmon.
